Replacement Filter for Drum Safety Clamps, Solid Filter, for Lock-Out, Tag-Out. This filter is used when you want to store a chemical drum that has been opened and the opening needs to be closed or re-sealed. This insert is used in conjunction with a Drum Lock Safety Clamp and Drum Seal Tags, and can be used when you want to seal off a bung opening completely but also need to lock it and record a serial number. All of our filters are resistant to all chemicals that can be stored safely in a plastic drum. Made of closed cell, cross-linked plastizote LDPE, the filters can withstand a pH range from 1-13. The advanced polymerization of this insert provides optimum chemical resistance. It is recommended to replace the filter every 6 months, or when deterioration of the filter is present.
